We absolutely love Zumba, and love teaching it, and get a lot of energy and excitement out
of all the Zumba classes we teach and the fans that our Zumba classes have created in the
Richmond area.
We took our first Zumba training in Sep. 06 and fell in love with it. A few weeks later we
started teaching at American Family at the various locations around Richmond, VA. Some
of our Zumba classes have had close to 100 people and everyone loves it !!!
In early March of 07 we attended my second Zumba training in Dayton, Ohio where we met
Beto Perez (Zumba creator) and a lot of other cool people. A Zumba infomercial that has
recently been aired nationwide was filmed at that training and you should be able to pick
us out in the audience doing the class if you watch the Live Class DVD.....
We also attended the Zumba Gold (for active older aduts or beginners) certification and
took one more Zumba certification from Erick Santana in Morgantown, W. VA.
More recently we attended a two day Zumba workshop in Pittsburgh in Summer '08 where
we met Beto (Creator of Zumba) again !!! Some of those connections led to being able to
bring Beto to a Master Class in Richmond in September 08 !!! Anyone that was there can
testify to how much that was.
In late '08 we attended the first Annual Zumba Convention, where we were able to further
expand our Zumba training by taking the Level 2 training as well as Zumba toning, which
we hope to start locally soon.
Angela has been featured in Richmond Times Dispatch Zumba article, appeared on
Virginia This Morning TV show, have aired a couple of times on Mix 103.7 Morning Show
and have been in several other local publications.
In addition to teaching classes we're available for a variety of fun Zumba services like:
Corporate Classes, Team Building events, Festivals, Parties, Club appearances,
Choreography, Private lessons, Kid's Zumba, Zumba H2O (we'll bring Zumba to your pool)
and more...
